Edel is a Conemara native but now lives in Belfast. She works as a broadcaster with Ráidió Fáilte and as a freelance producer in the Irish language media sector. Edel is a member of An Dream Dearg and has been associated with the campaign group for a number of years now. Edel is particularly interested in music and she is also a dancer.
