Between September and November 2024, Belfast City Council consulted on a draft Irish language policy for the first time ever. We expect Belfast City Council will publish the results of the consultation very soon. At that stage we will need renewed community efforts to ensure the recommendations from pobal na Gaeilge are reflected in the final policy.
