Prior to the 2023 local council elections in May 2023, over 100 people used this tool to engage with their local #LE23 candidates to seek their stance on 5 key Irish language matters.

Local councils have a significant role to play in fulfilling the state’s duties to the Irish language.

With the upcoming local elections on the 18th of May 2023, we want to give the Irish language community the opportunity to engage with their local candidates and to seek their views on the 5 key demands for the Irish language and the Irish language community themselves.
