Pádraig, as one of the founding members of an Dream Dearg, was central in the early campaigning days of the group. He is originally from Newry and South Armagh, and he obtained his doctorate degree in Ulster University. Pádraig works as a communications manager with Conradh na Gaeilge and is a member of Laochra Loch Lao’s football team, as well as chairperson of Teelin Gaeltacht College in County Donegal.
